You must have already heard about IQOO, the sub-brand of Vivo that tries matching pace with OnePlus smartphones and has already launched quite a number of smartphones in the market. Though not many of them have reached the US market, if you believe the speculations, Vivo is about to bring the new Vivo IQOO Z1 smartphone and this is about to be a really good device at a low price.

So I was reading the specifications of this smartphone and thought you should have a look at what goes inside the Vivo IQOO Z1 smartphone. Here are the most important specifications of this device:

Dimensions and Display:

Vivo IQOO Z1 has a pretty good appearance with a thickness of about 9mm and weighs about 194g.

It has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole cutout for the front camera. You get a 1080 x 2408 pixels display resolution with about 84% screen-to-body ratio and HDR s10 support as well. Plus, there is a screen refresh rate of 144Hz and this is really good.

Power and Performance:

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus processor which is the best one by the brand to date. This smartphone processor is octa-core in nature and has a primary clock speed of 2.6Ghz.

Besides, the OS support is IQOO UI 1.0 over Android 10 and this is again something new to experience. There is also a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU to support the performance. Overall, it’s a power-packed device.

RAM and ROM:

The smartphone is expected to occur in a number of RAM and ROM variants. You can choose from the 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants according to your needs.

Camera:

The camera section of Vivo IQOO Z1 may appear a bit low, but it can take really good photos and videos. It has a powerful 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera support with an LED flash and it also has a 16MP front camera to power your selfies and video calls.

Though most of the competitive devices may show up with a quad-cam feature, I think even this is good enough considering the price of the smartphone and the other features.

Connectivity Features:

Well, it is important to know that the connectivity aspect of the smartphone is all dependant on the processor it contains, and here, MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus processor is in the witness box.

However, you would already know that this is a 5G chipset by MediaTek and has really good connectivity features. The integrated 5G modem makes sure the smartphones never experience any sort of connectivity issue.

Battery:

It won’t be an exaggeration if you say that the battery section is one of the highlights of the smartphone. It supports a 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support and Super Flash Charge 2.0. As per the brand, this is enough to charge the battery from 0 to 100% in less than an hour.

Sensors:

The smartphone arrives with sensors such as Fingerprint (side-mounted), Accelerometer, Proximity, and Compass and has a quick Face Unlock feature as well.

Price:

With all the above features, the smartphone is expected to cost around $340 and I think this is pretty good for a mid-range smartphone. Even with a really powerful MediaTek 5G processor, I think the cost of the smartphone is quite interesting.

So if you have already heard the rumors and are looking to buy the Vivo IQOO Z1 smartphone, I think this could be a good option for most of the users. What do you think?
