It’s not been long since Vivo came up with its sub-brand IQOO and trying to compete with some of the biggest smartphone brands, IQOO has gained a substantial market across the world.

I hope you read about this device in my previous post where I gave you a specification review of Vivo IQOO Z1 which is one of the 5G smartphones. However, with some really good specifications, you can expect the cost of the device a bit lesser than the other objects and here is my view on the devices:

Specification Review: A Recap

Before we dive in to know the performance aspects, let us have a quick review of the specifications of this device. Vivo IQOO Z1 is a smart-looking device with a size of about 9mm and weighing about 195g. It has a smart 6.57-inch IPS LCD display with a display refresh rate of 144Hz. The display resolution is 1080 pixels and about 84 percent screen to body ratio.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ octa-core processor that is clocked at 2.6GHz and is 7nm in size. Besides, it has Android 10 as its OS and Mali-G77 MC9 as its GPU. The device is available in RAM variants 6GB and 8GB and you can opt for internal storage of wither 128GB or 256GB.

Moving on to the camera, this is something that you would really love to have. The device has a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera with an LED flash and a punch-hole front camera with a 16MP camera senor.

The device contains a 4500mAH battery with 44W fast charging support that claimed to charge 100% of your battery from 0 in less than an hour. It is available in Silver and Blue Color variants and has a fingerprint sensor as well as a face-unlock feature for security.

Performance Review:

Backed by the power of the MediaTek 5G processor, the smartphone is actually quite good in performance. With the 144Hz screen refresh rate, the display actually seems to be quite good and while you play games, it is quite assistive.

I tried playing Call of Duty on the device and the graphics were really impressive. There were no lags or hiccups even at the high settings and the gaming session that went over 2 hours was absolutely seamless. No connectivity issues and no battery drain issues as well.

Perhaps, the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor at low cost has actually offered it the power to keep the gamers lured till eternity. And the added MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 support is the perfect enhancement to the fuel.

Since the RAM and internal storage is not a problem in this device, this is also one of the factors that influence the gaming performance of the device.

If you are a camera lover, you are going to love this one. As compared to a lot of smartphones that now occur with a quad-rear camera section, this one has just three on its back. However, the picture quality and the video quality of the products out of this camera are just beautiful. Even the selfies and the video calls were quite good.

About the battery, I would say that the smartphone takes a little bit more than an hour to get charged from 10 to 100%. However, this is quite good and even the battery backup is again good enough. So overall, the features are amazing for a 5G smartphone that costs close to $300. What do you think?
