My last post on Lenovo Chromebook Duet got a lot of attention from the viewers and Medium as well. Thanks for that, and here I thought I would bring up the second part of the post to tell you a bit more about the device.

If you haven’t seen it still, I would request you to click here and know the specifications as well as a review about it in brief. You would know that this is a really good device costing just $279 and offering the power that you desire. This is powered by MediaTek Helio P60T Processor which has a maximum clock speed of 2.00 GHz having 8 Cores, and 8 Threads.

But let us face the other side of the coin as well. While you know all the good stuff about it, I thought the little bad it has, should be clear as a crystal in front of you. So here I have brought for you the Pros and Cons of Lenovo Chromebook Duet which you ought to know, if you are planning to get this device home.

Let us start with the Pros first:

Pros of Lenovo Chromebook Duet:

Powerful Display

Lenovo Chromebook Duet has a 10.1-inch screen and packs a display resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels for a aspect ratio of 16:10. It has an IPS LCD’s screen with brightness rates of 400nits and with a 70% color gamut. Well, away from technicalities, the display is pretty bright and sharp, and you can watch movies both indoor and outdoors without any issues.

Great Performance

As already mentioned, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio P60T processor that is clocked at 2GHz and has an octa-core structure. Well, owing to this powerful chipset, the device has a really good performance and whether you look to play games or open multiple tabs at once on a browser, the Chromebook experiences no hiccups.

It has an ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU with a frequency of 800MHz to take care of the graphics. Plus, there is 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which also lends a hand in its performance.

Amazing Battery Backup

Lenovo Chromebook Duet has perhaps the best battery life in sub-$300 Chromebooks. It has a powerful battery which lasts about 10 hours on being completely charged and I think this is great for the people who stay on the go.

Very Portable and Affordable:

Yeah, battery life is one of the major reasons why you would call Lenovo Chromebook Duet a portable device. But other than that, it has a sleek size of just 7.35mm and weighs just 450grams and that is even less than a pound without its stand. If you were to include its stand, the weight turns to about 920grams, that is almost 2 pounds on the sale. No doubt, you can easily carry it with you on a small handbag without any issues.

Besides, the $279 mentioned on the price tag is also not a fuss about it. This is actually quite easy on the pockets of most of the people and is worth the money as well.

Cons of Lenovo Chromebook Duet:

Cramped Keyboard:

While the key shape, travel, and action in the Chromepad is good, when it comes to letter and number keys, the punctuation keys are slightly abbreviated, makingit harder to use accurately. In fact, six of the keys are about half the size of the rest of the keys. I think the design of the keyboard could have been a bit better.

Lack of Ports:

If you were hoping to connect a few peripherals in lieu of the included keyboard, you ought to have splitters and dongles in tow. Lenovo Chromebook Duet has only a single USB-C port, which stays occupied whenever the device is charging. Though itdoes include a headphone dongle, another USB-C port would be more than wlecome.

So if you are planning to buy a Lenovo Lenovo Chromebook Duet, make sure you tap into all the specifications and know it inside out. My opinion: he device is good to go at the low price.
