As summers and winters pass by, the smart devices get smarter in nature and technology with Artificial Intelligence has all the role to play in this. Talking about Amazon Echo Studio, this was launched a couple of summers ago, but is still one of the most loved smart devices in the market that can handle the other smart products at your home.

The speaker features 3 2-inch midrange drivers arranged around the sides of the round cabinet, a single 1-inch tweeter firing out the top, and it also has a 5.25-inch down-firing woofer in the base. The speaker is powered by a MediaTek SoC that takes care of its speech recognition, real-time room adaptation, and also the onboard mics that monitor how the room responds to the speaker.

So you can say that this is a relatively powerful device that competes with Sonos devices in the market. However, the catch of this content is not to describe how well the Amazon Echo Studio performs. You already have a lot of ideas about it. Here are some tricks and tips that not many of the Amazon Alexa users know, but these could be really handy and dandy in making your life wonderful.

Changing Alexa’s or Your Name:

Alexa is a wakeup word that wakes up the device from sleep when you need it. However, if you too have the same name or something like that, you would wish to offer your smart device another wakeup word.

For this, you just need to open the app in your smartphone and enter the Wake Word section.

In this, you can keep any other wakeup word apart from Alexa, such as “Amazon”, “Echo” or “Computer”. Besides, if you wish to change the name that the device uses to call you, just visit the “Communicate” section in the app and go to “My Profile and Settings”. You get an option to change your name as well. I like Alexa to call me “Mr. Brad Pitt”. Isn’t it cool?

Different Profiles for Different Users:

If you want your Amazon Echo Studio device to recognize each person with his/her specific name, even this is possible. All you need to do is visit the Alexa Household section and create different profiles for each of the users. Go to the Settings section, Account Settings and Amazon Household and you can follow the instructions from thereon.

With more than a single account on your Amazon Echo Studio, you can share music and movies, collaborate on shopping lists, to-do lists, and calendars etc. If you forget about the account that is logged in, shoot a command saying “Alexa (or whatever name you are using), which profile am I using?” and it would inform the same. To switch to your own, say “Alexa, switch profile” and you are done with it.

Covering Your Tracks:

Did you ask Alexa something that was too embarrassing? Well, you can delete personal recordings by going to Settings and Alexa Privacy in the application. You also come across a lot of other options such as managing your Alexa data and viewing your specific voice history. In order to delete a voice record, just select it and click Delete voice recordings.

You have the option to delete these for the entire day, week, or month, or even delete your entire recordings history. Under Manage your Alexa data, you can set it up to delete your voice records automatically after a certain period of time.

These are some of the tips and tricks that you can try out in your Amazon Echo Studio device, apart from asking for music, internet radio, cooking recipes and daily news etc. This amazing device can do a lot that you think and I guess you just need to dig it up. Did you do anything much more interesting? Waiting for your experience in the comment section.
